How do i voluntarily admit myself?

To voluntarily admit yourself, you should go to the ER, that was what I had to do, it is basically the only way. I had to go through the ER twice. It was a lot easier than calling the police and have them come and get me (I went to school in a small town, I know every police officer and paramedic that works for the surrounding area). Do not worry about the people there hearing you, they have heard it before. It is really not as bad as it sounds going to the ER, they are really calm about it and treat you like every other patient, they do not make a scene. Also, very few people will be able to hear you and if they do, you are not "the crazy lady" you are the lady that wants help, now if you were to be brought in strapped to a gurney and screaming like a lunatic, then you will be "the crazy lady." No one is going to judge you at all, for one you are going there to get help and two, they are just to busy to judge you.
