Who thinks Obama joined his church for political reasons?

Think about it. Obama is from Hawaii and thought Chicago would be a good place to start his political career. This church has upwards of 7,000 members. Joining this church would have given him a good advantage among Chicago's large black community when he was running fro state and US senator. Do i think he believe that he believes that crap that his priest was saying? No. But was it politically convenient for him to stay at the church despite what his pastor was saying because he did not want to lose the political support of his congregation? yes. Thoughts on this?
