its inside the lower lid. in the middle of my eye. its too far away from eyelash follicles too be an infection from that.. its in the red membrane if you pull my lower eyelid down.i cant see it from the outside.(but i can feel the bump if i put my finger on the outside) the reason i even noticed it was because it looked like there was a "pouch" on the outsidel lower lid farther down.theres a whitish head on it like a stye. i just thought it was an odd place. no oil glands..no eyelashes...any ideas?

EMERGENCY - My Iguana is choking?

My iguana ate a stem from his collard greens and now I believe it is lodged in his throat. He is breathing but I can see it when he opens his mouth. I've called the emergency vet and they said we can either monitor him at home or bring him in but the vet is 45 min. away. I don't know what to do. At first he was a bit frantic and then he fell from his shelf (I caught him before he hit) but not he's seems calmer. I'm so scared. Do you think it's caught in his lungs at all? here is my problem, about 2 months ago, the corner of my lips started to get chapped so i applied Carmex chapstick on both sides of my mouth, the next morning i noticed two big white scras on each side of my mouth. I tried applying vaseline to make the scar return to my normal skin color (i'm black my the way) but to me i think it made it whiter and had no effect, i started using BIO OIL on the white scars to make it go away its been 3 weeks now and i havent seen a change at all i even tried puttin make up to cover it but the foundation hasnt helped at all im startin college next month & i dont want this to interfere with my life any more please help me , please help me get rid of this thank you!

I don't think the first one would be as big of a hit only because they are only bringing a gift and if anyone forgot change they would feel awkward and left out. The best bet would be to play the other 3 since you would already have the materials with you. Also you could play that last game with a twist. Like if you have a baby name already then take all the letters from first last and middle name and see who can come up with the most words.You could also have a notebook and any funny stories that the guests remember about you (that are appropriate) can be written down in the book and given to baby when it's older as sort of an idea of the funny things mom and dad had happen. It's not a game, but you could go around and reminisce and just get to having a good time.

Question about my tooth?

I went to the dentist last week for a routine check up. I knew at that time that I had an issue with one of my teeth and discovered that I had cracked a wisdom tooth and I have cavity in this tooth. Because of the crack it is easy to get things stuck in the tooth (gum, etc.). My dentist told me to call an oral surgeon and I have a consultation next week for an extraction but today it is really aching. How do i get better at ultimate frisbee?

From my experience simply playing catch and paying close attention to how the frisbee flies when you do different things with it has helped me the most, as far as throws go. Watching how the frisbee flies starting inside out and outside in (hyzer and anhyzer). As far as field awareness goes, setting up with another player helps a lot. If you are cutting, keep track of where they are and emulate the lines they take in relation to defenders and marks. For me, awareness of whats going on is essential. If you don't look for it and see it, it's hard to address how to change it, as opposed to seeing it and coming up with all sorts of solving the issue, style

Does short term disability cover pregnancy when I am unable to perform my job?

I work in healthcare and am required to lift upwards of 75 lbs on a daily basis (not every day but I work in home health so I have no one around to ist me usually). I am 6 wks pregnant now so I don't have my first OB appt for 2 wks and have not told my boss yet. I don't know what weight restrictions my OB will put me on and when, but I know she is not going to permit me to lift a 200 lb patient off a bed when I am 8 months along! I have short term disability benefits thru work. My job is not one where I can make it thru 9 months pregnant. It involves a lot of lifting and carrying heavy bags (as well as possible exposure to diseases like shingles). Will STD cover the time after my OB puts me on weight restrictions?

Ok, i played baseball for 9 years(still playing). Keep you eye on the ball at all times. If you are right handed, take your right hand towards that ball, and turn your wrist. I always take the first pitch to get my timing down. Take a medium stride and come down when you take the bat towards the ball. Bat speed is important, the faster the bat speed the further the ball will go. I don't know much about pitching, i play 1st base, sorry about that.When you finish your swing, your head should be down and your back and back leg should make an L shape. keep two hands on the bat and you should be good. You do not have to be a home-run hitter to be able to make it big. If you are fast and can get double and triples and singles, you will be fine. Work on speed and Hand Eye Coordination.

It was a lot easier than calling the police and have them come and get me (I went to school in a small town, I know every police officer and paramedic that works for the surrounding area). Do not worry about the people there hearing you, they have heard it before. It is really not as bad as it sounds going to the ER, they are really calm about it and treat you like every other patient, they do not make a scene. Also, very few people will be able to hear you and if they do, you are not "the crazy lady" you are the lady that wants help, now if you were to be brought in strapped to a gurney and screaming like a lunatic, then you will be "the crazy lady." It used to happen to me and I found that every time I told someone then whatever I saw would not happen at all. I just take note of my dreams now and pay close attention to if something bad happened in a dream or if I get a negative feeling about something. So far doing this has helped me in some situations to prevent a really bad outcome. I have done this ever since I was advised to 'trust my instincts'. I honestly think that you are bucking up on some things like subtle body language that most people don't notice and your hearing and overhearing things and reading things that your mind is putting without you even relising it, some things that your consus mind had forgotten about but you subconsus mind still remembers. I think there are periods when you are resting that you consus and subconsus minds are exchanging information and sometimes during this interaction you actually figure out something that you did not even know you were thinking about and you actually 'see' an image your mind has created when you are dreaming. I think de javu is simply a case of you remembering something you were expecting to happen subconsusly and it is actually the shock of your consus mind receiving the memory from your subconsus being and going 'oh yeah, that's right, I forgot about that'. Therefore all you are probably experiencing is the result of your mind absorbing, processing, yzing, and figuring out the meaning of information it receives throughout the day and over time without you even consusly realizing it. Sorry this is so long, I don't have a full understanding of how the mind works and this is still something I am yzing and thinking about. Once I understand the topic better I will be able to give shorter and simpiler answers.

How to train an aggressive dog?

I have a Boston Terrier. He's 6 years old and been with my family ever since he was 8 weeks. Lately, he's been getting skinny, and aggressive. He hasn't been like this in years. He did bite 2 people in the past, reason being they teased him and hit him. Ever since he bit them, he's stopped but has been in his own little world. Recently, we got a new dog. It's a girl, and she's a mastiff. At first, he wasn't too fond of her. We didn't make them meet the correct way and he immediately attacked her. I know that Boston Terriers are very serious about their territory and that's the reason why he attacked her. He hates the vet, he usually grows at the doctor, they need to put a muzzle on him. It breaks my heart cause my dad wants to get rid of him badly! What can we do to make him stop being like this? He usually steals my new puppys bones all the time! When we try to get it back from him, he growls at us like crazy and trys to bite us. He never does though, and without his bone...he's the sweetest dog ever. Hello all I'm hoping someone can help me. Work is getting so uncomfortable and unbearable. Last Monday my husband left for the military. We have an 18 month little girl and finding a weekend babysitter was unsuccessful. I had informed my direct supervisor of this three weeks prior to my husband leaving. We were still actively looking at that time but I did want her to be aware that I may need to change my availability. She told me at that time not to worry about it and that she would help me figure something out. Two weeks went by and no luck finding a baby sitter and not another word from her. I finally approached her asking her how I could change my availability at that time she informed me the store manager wouldn't go for it and I should just put my notice in. Before putting my notice in I approached the store manager who at that time was more than willing to work with my availability. The next day my direct supervisor got wind of what happened and pulled me out in front of the building and informed me for going over her head " my job was in jeopardy and my position was now temporary." The next morning I spoke to Human resources and informed them of the conversation my supervisor and I had the day before. I also informed the store manager that I had gotten HR involved so she was not blind sided by their call. I was never followed up with by HR a week after HR contacted both the store manager and my direct supervisor I was informed by the store manager they were no longer willing to work with my availability and if I couldn't find a sitter I would be taken down to a part time employee. Two days after that the store manager wrote me up for "mispunches". The time clock doesnt always process punches. The time clock will beep and say it accepted the punch and the next day I go into work and I will have to sign a paper to correct the time. I have had mispunches for months with no disciplinary action done. But since I contacted Human resources my job has been put in jeopardy. The sad thing is all the employees know the time clock is broken and they all have to sign missed punches all the time. Some get write ups and some don't. I have tried contacting HR again but I keep getting sent to voicemails and getting no calls back. It is making it unbearable to go to work knowing they are trying to fire me and the whispers from managers as I walk by and the staring as I am doing my job makes me very uncomfortable. Can I quit and get unemployment or do I have to wait to be fired?

How to cook crock pot meat?

So I have a couple dozen meat to cook for a party tomorrow. I would like to start it in the mid morning and have it be ready by mid-afternoon by crock pot method. Is it better to brown the meat first in the oven for 10-20 minutes or so and drain the fat off (we used 85% burg) then plop into crock pot for 6 or so hours on low to simmer in the sauce OR should we just drop the raw meat in the sauce in the crock pot and let it cook that way? I do not understand why so many people are interested in drugs. The argument seems to be that drugs are used for relaxation. Lost or stolen puppies?

My friend has two Bull Mastiff dogs, and the girl one had 4 lovely puppies about 9/10 weeks ago. One died shortly afterwards as it was the dog's first litter. My friend takes exceptional care of them and he would let them out in the garden when he was there. His lane down to the house is half a mile long so there is no chance of the puppies reaching the road before he would realise. Recently they would follow the mother dog around the garden. My friend went outside the other day and saw the mother dog come down the lane, without the pups who had been following her. They have not come back. He has looked for them but they couldn't be found. One of the neighbours took his girl dog before but my friend managed to get her back. They were very valuable pups, my friend thinks they were stolen as they wouldn't have left the mother dog. He is worried about them because they are so young. OCD is a scary thing that controls many people, but there are also cases of mild OCD that people have and do not really bother them. I am fairly sure I have very mild OCD (I enjoy straightening and cleaning things). But late at night, my mind sometimes creates terrible images and thoughts. I will have random thoughts that are very explicit and violent, typically ual related things that scare me. They are brief and literally come out of nowhere. In the morning they are gone and I go about my day without a thought of these occasional nightly thoughts. But eventually they return. I am not a violent person but the disturbing images that frequently haunt me are just the opposite. I have had them forever, before I was aware that OCD covered this symptom. But the websites I search do not directly mention these kind of things. So what exactly is haunting me? If you have any advice please offer it. I do not want to share the terrible thoughts that have come to me, but believe me when I say that my nights would be easier without them.

My 7wk old seems to be choking on drainage and gagging alot, at night or when laying on his back. help?

My 7wk old baby woke me up in the middle of the night last week gagging and gasping for air. It seemed that he had some type of thick drainage that he couldnt get up. He did this about three times in 3-4 minutes. His face began to turn purple he was gagging that bad. We were at a football game tonight and it was cool 75/80 degrees somewhere in there, rainy so we took him to the SUV and kept him in there until it stopped raining. When it stopped raining, we wrapped him in a blanket and put him in the covered stroller. He fell asleep in his carseat but when we got home my husband put him in his benett and a few minutes he did the same things as last week. Then there is a beautiful carved piece of marble slab that is curved from both sides to meet in the middle at the largest arc. It is made to rest against the wall, (as it has no finish to back). i use flashmedia live encoder 3 to broadcast to livestream, it has a few bugs too i think it crashes a lot or freezes when adjusting settings with sound input through usb or camera etc. My main problem is my laptop overheating and turning itself off midway through a broadcast, ive done a bit of research into cooling mats and fans and i know that i need a certain cooling tool for my spec lappy. Mine is a hp pavillion dv9500 laptop and is 2 years old, its served me extremely well for a laptop and it now has a new battery and plug lead which i needed to replace. I'm looking for a Multifunction Printer up to $230, which brand is best and economical to run? HP or Canon?

I already bought an Epson Stylus Office TX610 but got thinking that I won't be using most of the function so I'm really wasting my money cos I only really needed something that can print a really good brochures and cards in colours plus scan. When I found out in the Forums @ Whirpool review re Epson Brand they are costly to run due to the Print Head built into the printer which needed constant aligning of print heads (which usded about 15-29% of EACH cartridge to do once and it often needed 2 or 3 loops to get it right). It recommended Canon as the best all-round package, excellent cost-effective printing with removable print-head and individual ink taks on many of their model. However the sales man at Domayne sudgested HP as most economical to run out of all the printer in the market. He has own them before and was happy with them. What do you think? Termite damage discovered after offer accepted but before purchase?

I made an offer on a house "For Sale By Owner" and it was readily accepted. It has been a rental property and the owner said I could move in and pay rent until the purchase date. He was in the process of having someone remodel the entire bathroom. My son, who is a union carpenter, agreed to do the remodeling and the owner would pay only for materials. When the drywall was removed, significant termite damage was discovered, and the 2X4's were like sponge. They had to be replaced on 1 1/2 walls and the entire floor. I am guessing that there is probably more damage in other walls. The owner has had the property 2 years and 3 years ago the house was professionally treated. Inspections since note the visible damage in the basement, but reports no evidence of active termites since. My question is, is there a customary or any other way to calculate what dollar amount to use for the decrease in value of the property? What would be the best way to handle it?

Do NOT go cheap on a tripod. You will regret that decision. And places like wolf camera are good to purchase one from, but do NOT buy one of their off brand (quantaray) tripods, even the pro model. Been there, done that, and it SUCKS! Go with a good brand like Bogen/Manto. They have many different models, in the $100-$150 range, with or without a head that will do well for what you need. I recommend a ball head with quick release that will support at least 6 pounds and that wil be sufficient.

i went to IU- Bloomington. i know it's hard to make it into the marching 100 if you want to do that but there are tons of ways to get involved in a school as big as IU. I promise that you'll have liberal students there. The greek life is very prominant but there are so many avenues to get involved in. They have student government within each dorm and you can serve as a floor representative as a freshman and work your way up to dorm president (with free housing- if it still applies). I suggest that you visit each campus- after you narrow it down to two or three and see which ones you are really seriously interested in! i don't check my yahoo email very often but i'll try to more this week in case you have any more questions

I am trying to determine best way to add space to second floor of my bungalow?

I have a 1920's bungalow that right now has 2 bedrooms upstairs. The chimney rooms smack down the middle of the house. There is a another roof line that pitches the opposite of main roof creating eaves or attic space in the front of house. This space has been finished to create walk in closets and bath. The back of the house has a lot of wasted space with the pitch of the roof line. If I raise the roof and bring it straight out, what's the best floor plan for accomodating the chimney in the middle.
