A question about AIDS in the modern world?
I think the reason why you are not hearing as much is that it is not being seen as it used to be - A death sentence. At least in countries like ours. People here are now able to live positive for decades. In the late 80's everyone who was infected died whether it was in the U.S. or abroad. What i find incredible is how the epidemic is affecting third world countries and no one seems to care. there are some areas in Africa where the aids rate is over 20%. - a bit scary... you can head to the link I list below for some regional info by country.
