Would these events matter much in a custody case?
This is coming from a mothers perspective, but it is highly unlikely you will get full custody. Weekends, 50/50 maybe. Has the child been living with her mother since birth? A judge will be reluctant to take her away from her security of familiar family. You both working two jobs is good financially, but they will question if you have enough time to spend with the daughter. Agree with the previous poster- speculation means nothing. I have seen crackheads who walk their children up and down the street all hours of the night, no food in the house, inappropriate dress on the children for the weather, and leaving a 6 and 3 year old home alone. The aunt of these children obtained custody only AFTER taking pictures of them smoking crack in front of the kids, video of her coming in the house when the parents were gone and showing the living conditions, and also pictures of the children in winter with shorts, a coat, and no shoes at night. Good luck, but it is highly doubtful he will get full or sole custody.
