Yasmin pill, should i cange it or stick with it?

i have been put on it, now in the middle of my third pack (month).i was put on it for my skin but it doesnt seem to have made much of a difference. it's made my bigger and i now have a boyfriend so will need it for contraceptive, but should i change it if it hasn't cleared my skin or is it still early days??surely if it was going to work it would have worked by now?
