What if Bud Selig reinstates Pete Rose?

I don't think the rule will be modified or rescinded by any means. Selig might reevaluate his situation and if he's smart he will say Rose committed these offenses while he was a manager and not as a player therefore his accomplishments as a player should not go unrecognized.
